Podcast Recording and Editing (Unit 16: P5, P6, M2)
P5 (U16): Record the different sound elements
Here is me setting up the microphone to record my podcast. I plugged it into the the computer and had it at the correct distance so I could be heard easily and clearly so it can be more enjoyable for the audience as they can hear me clearly with no confusion leading to them listening to my podcast each week.
Progress log
I started out by opening garage band and choosing the empty project as this was the most appropriate option for recording a podcast.
After clicking empty project this was my set up and as you can see its clear for me to start putting my sounds in.
I then started to drag and drop my speaking in and I would cut out any mistakes by clicking on edit the split regions at Maidenhead therefore the podcast sounded smooth and ensured there were no mistakes therefore we give correct information. as well as making the audience want to tune in more as we sound professional.
I then added in the sound effects bellow. This is so they could play at the same time as the people speaking in my podcast but quieter so the audience can still hear the speakers but the sound effects will add atmosphere to the podcast to make it sound like we were on the road.
I then exported my sound as an MP3 and saved it to my desktop which. then uploaded to YouTube for people to enjoy the podcast wherever they like.
M2 (U16): Present the sound elements to an audience to gain feedback
